Again this year there was a large and interesting selection of buses. Highlight of the rally was the parade of pre-war vehicles. These pictures are towards the end of the collection

There were nearly 300 buses at this event. Most of the visitors were again parked at Wisley airfield. A frequent bus service operated from there to the Bus Museum at Cobham

A short visit to Hong Kong shows buses operated by New World First Bus NWFB Citybus Cityflyer Kowloon Canton Railway KCR and Kowloon Motor Bus KMB. Most pictures were taken at the North Point Ferry Bus Station unless otherwise stated.

One of the highlights of this year's Southend Bus Rally was Open Top Bus Tours along Southend Sea Front. Many of the buses were ex London Transport, London Country, Eastern National or Southend. Buses whose original operator was far away were from Potteries Motor Traction and Seagull of Blackpool.

The 2004 Showbus Rally, held at Duxford airfield in Cambridgeshire, was dry for a change. Here are some of the over 400 buses that took part.

Cobham starts the Bus Rally season each year with up to 200 buses and an intensive local Preserved bus service. All these photos are taken at the display site at Wisley.
